I created The Immigrants Counsel Blog to help foreign nationals, HR professionals and immigration professionals learn about U.S. immigration law—from breaking news and best practices to celebrating client successes. 

As a first generation immigrant and attorney, I believe there is a lack of practical guidance and accurate information about the U.S. immigration laws, regulations and system. As a person who has experienced U.S. immigration law from an immigrant’s perspective and an attorney’s perspective, I understand how much stress, anxiety, and fear our immigration system can cause. And, I also understand how much relief and joy it can bring in enabling a foreign national to study, work and live in the United States; to be reunited with family; and to become a U.S. citizen.
